Veterinary endoscopy for pets in Miami, FL

Endoscopy

Endoscopy is a minimally invasive diagnostic procedure that uses a flexible or rigid instrument equipped with a small camera. It allows the veterinary team to examine internal areas of your pet’s body without requiring a traditional surgical incision.

Depending on your pet’s symptoms, endoscopy may be used to examine the esophagus, stomach, intestines, respiratory tract, nasal passages, or other areas. It may help identify inflammation, blockages, abnormal tissue, swallowed objects, or other medical concerns.

In some cases, an endoscope can also be used to collect tissue samples or remove certain foreign objects. Your veterinarian will determine whether endoscopy is appropriate based on your pet’s examination and diagnostic results.
